Ryan Newman's loss was Joey Logano's gain.
Newman was in the lead with 37 laps left when he ran out of gas and headed to pit row.
The 19-year-old Logano took over the lead and then the rains came and the race never resumed making Logano the youngest driver to ever win a Sprint Cup race.
Newman's crew attempted to just top off the #39 car and get Ryan back on the track immediately before the rain came hard. But it didn't work and Newman's car wouldn't re-start immediately.
Then the rain came just three laps later and Logano won.
Newman finished 29th. He dropped to 7th in the Sprint Cup standings.
Jeff Gordon was 2nd, Tony Stewart 5th, and David Stremme 28th.
