David Bruton went through good times and bad times while at Notre Dame and now the safety will get the chance to play in the NFL. He was the only former Irish player invited to attend the NFL Combine in Indy over the past week.
Bruton comments on what he hoped to accomplish and how he thinks the Irish will fare in the coming seasons.
"I plan to show the teams that I know the defense, I can talk well, I can learn fast. I just plan to show them that I have good feet for a guy that is 6' 2".
When asked about Notre Dame Bruton said, "A lot of the guys are younger classman, they have a year under their belt. Pretty soon everything is gonna click, and their all gonna mesh well."
