Charlie Weis walked into his day after the game press conference walking on his two feet.
He did have a cane helping him out.
Weis tore his ACL and MCL during the 2nd quarter of Saturday's win over Michigan when one of his players---John Ryan--was pushed into him from behind on a play.
Weis said Sunday he is holding off on surgery. He said he has to at least wait until the MCL becomes stronger, before he can consider surgery to repair the ACL.
Doctors have told him that could take at least a month. So he may or may not have the surgery around Notre Dame's bye week in mid October.
Weis also said the injury will not effect his coaching, point out that the University hired him for his mind and not his body.
He said he will continue to be on the sidelines during games and not move to the press box.
The one change he may do is sit more during practice rather than be constantly standing.
