NorthWood, Memorial, Concord, Plymouth win NLC battles

A wacky fumble for a touchdown in the 1st quarter ruined a big night in Goshen as the Redskins honored their 1978 and 1988 State Championship teams.

NorthWood QB Skylar Titus fumbled at the three yard line but running back Denzale Johnson was there to dive on the ball and fall into the endzone for the touchdown as the Panthers knocked off the Redskins 9-7.
At Warsaw, Memorial improved to 2-1 in conference play with a 21-14 win over the Tigers.

The game was tied at 14 at the half.

After a 2-0 start, Warsaw has lost the first two games in its Northern Lakes Conference schedule.
For the 3rd time this season, Concord scored 49 or more points in a game as the Minutemen improved to 4-0 with a 55-7 win over Wawasee.
Plymouth is also now 4-0 after a 21-0 win over Northridge.
