Jimtown, St. Joe Bears win big

LaVille outscored its first two opponents 59-0.

But the Lancers had to deal with Jimtown in week three and the Jimmies rolled.

Zach Spuregon rushed for more than 100 yards and three touchdowns as Jimtown won its Northern State Conference opener 49-13.

Jeremy Hill added an interception and touchdown and Herman Pollard rushed for 100 yards and a TD for the Jimmies.

Jimtown is now 2-1. The Lancers drop to 2-1.
In Michigan, the St. Joe Bears pounded Marshall 35-12 to improve to 2-0 on the season.

The Bears led 21-6 at the Half.

Drake Smith taking over the running back duties, had a 3rd quarter touchdown to put the game away.
At Dowagiac, Three Rivers scored a late 4th quarter touchdown to beat the Chieftains 19-14.

The game was tied at 7 after the 1st quarter.
