Michigan running back Kevin Grady will play against Miami of Ohio after being suspended for the season opener.
Coach Rich Rodriguez said Wednesday that Grady has earned the right to play.
Grady was suspended before the season began. He was arrested July 2 in the Grand Rapids suburb of Wyoming for driving with a blood-alcohol level at 0.281 percent, about three-and-a-half times the state's legal limit.
He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor drunken-driving charge on July 29. He was sentenced to three days in jail or 24 hours of community service. He also must serve 12 months of probation and pay $3,290 in fines and fees.
