Washington's Antwon Jones named Indiana Coach of the Week

Antwon Jones' coaching career has gotten off to an amazing start.

Just two weeks into his first season as the Washington Panthers head coach, the former Notre Dame defensive lineman is already receiving big accolades.

Jones was named the Indiana Coach of the Week by the Indianapolis Colts, and was recognized at the high school on Wednesday.

Last Friday, Washington defeated Michigan City 21-20. They are now 2-0 after a 20-19 win over Marian in week one.

The start is remarkable, considering the program did not win a single game in 2007.

Washington opens up Northern Indiana Conference play on Friday at Elkhart Central.
