The U.S. men's Olympic basketball team put on a show for the president of the United States and as many as a billion people watching on TV with a 101-70 win over host China.

President Bush and his family were in the audience to watch the spectacle.

The American squad struggled with jump shots, but made up the difference with reverse slams and tomahawk jams as LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and company put on a dunk show.

Wade scored 19 points and James had 18 for the Americans. Kobe Bryant finished with 13.

Houston Rockets All-Star center Yao Ming finished with 13 points for China. He thrilled the crowd with the first points of the game when he drilled a 3-pointer from the top of the key.
