St. Ignatius' Dan Fox verbally commits to Notre Dame

St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland is recognized as one of the top programs in the nation for football. Already at Notre Dame are former Wildcats John Ryan and Robby Parris.

Now from St. Ignatius comes Dan Fox, a 6'4, 215 pound linebacker who verbally committed to the Irish.

Fox has a great knack for dropping into pass coverage from his position which makes him almost a hybrid type player between linebacker and safety.

Fox considered Michigan state, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Pitt and Illinois and is listed as a four star recruit by Rivals.com

Fox is the 6th verbal commitment for the class of 2009. National signing day is the first Wednesday in February, 2009.
