The Reds scored four unearned runs and held on for the 5-3 win over the Cubs. Cincinnati got three in the first on two infield singles, a error and a broken bat single.

Giovanny Soto parked a 435 foot homer but that was matched by the Reds Adam Dunn who sent one 445 feet to give the Reds a 5-1 edge.

The Cubs loaded the bases in the ninth but failed to score.

Lou, get the taser gun out. Next time Fonzie swings at the first pitch out of the zone, ZAP HIS ***!!! Same for Fonteno, who told him to try that, OK, down 1 run, go for it, but not down two AND BASES LOADED!! (He was safe at home BTW) And why is Fonzie still in the lead off role? Will he cry or stop playing if you move him, can't be much worse than now. Kos should bat in the one hole, Johnson batting 2nd then Lee, Rami, The overpaid left fielder, Geo, Theriot and then Fonteno. However when Z is pitching I think he should bat 8 not 9. There you go Lou a lot of free advice that means nada to you. He has forgoten more about baseball than I will ever know. LET'S GO CUBBIES!!!
