He may weight 300 pounds but former Notre Dame great Chris Zorich is no Hall of Famer when it comes to hamburger eating.

The soon-to-be College Football Hall of Famer was the featured competitor in a hamburger eating contest at CJ's Pub in South Bend on Saturday.

But Zorich showed that size doesn't equal success when it comes to eating hamburgers.

Zorich finished just four mini-burgers in three minutes and finished in the middle of the pack of 11 competitors.

Afterwards he said he felt like he weighed more like 115 pounds instead of 300 based on his performance.

25-year-old Jim Seitz, a JV volleyball coach at Washington, was the winner.

Seitz ate six burgers in the alotted three minutes and was tied with female Brynne Kolbe. Seitz won in overtime eat off.

Coming in tied for dead last was Newscenter 16's Angelo Di Carlo.

"I thought the winner would be the person who enjoyed eating the burgers the most," Di Carlo said afterwards.

Di Carlo ate just one and a half mini-burgers.
