"I can't wait for these two weeks to be over," former Irish tight end John Carlson said Thursday, 16 days away from the NFL Draft.
Carlson sat down with Newscenter 16's Angelo Di Carlo to discuss the craziness of preparing for the NFL Draft. The full interview can be viewed by clicking the video links above.
Carlson is expected to be one of the top three tight ends selected on draft day on April 26th. He is likely to be picked in either the 2nd or 3rd round.
The former Irish captain says its very strange not being able to control anything right now. He just has to sit and wait and its driving him crazy.
Carlson missed the Senior Bowl back in January after losing significant weight due to an illness.
He had a tremendous workout at the Notre Dame Pro Day a few weeks ago that put him back on track to being a a top draft pick at his position.
He says he's not worried about when he's selected, but just anxious to be picked and start his NFL career.
