The Spartans' offensive struggles are a big part of why they are in the rare position of being unranked.

The Hoosiers (2-2, 0-1) are struggling on defense. They gave up a whopping 704 yards last week in a 44-29 loss at Northwestern last Saturday and 440 yards, including 206 on the ground, in a 41-39 loss to Ball State in their previous game.
