Harangody named 2nd team All-America

Notre Dame's Luke Harangody was named second team, All-America by the Associated Press on Monday.

It capped off a banner year for the Irish sophomore who was also named Player of the Year in the Big East.

Indiana's DJ White was also a second team pick while teammate Eric Gordon was a third-team choice.

The first team was made up of Carolina's Tyler Hansborough, DJ Augustin of Texas, Memphis guard Chris Douglas-Roberts, Michael Beasley of K-State and UCLA's Kevin Love. For the first time since the A.P. named an All-America team, no seniors were selected to the first unit
