Charlie Weis probably doesn't want to talk too much about his third season at Notre Dame as the Irish head football coach. It was a nightmare with a 3-9 record. But the first step toward getting better and improving on that begins Wednesday as spring drills begin.

There won't be many visible answers to the questions on the collective mind of Irish fans. Spring practice is a shadow of what used to be a period of time where a team could start building an identity for the fall. Now it's little more than a chance to lay a few layers of foundation before summer practice thanks to the limited contact prescribed by the NCAA.

Weis will address the media at noon and there will be complete coverage on NewsCenter 16 and at wndu.com

I knew what you were saying RIF. Just had to give you a hard time.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 7, 2008 at 11:14 AM
Like I said, did you bother now to read all of them and maybe see why we pop off sometimes? And you should try speaking for yourself, the other Anti-ND Haters you speak of are not usually of the capacity to make an informed post. Being here long enough I have read many of your posts, I would not lump yourself into that category. You must see that many of these people provoke me and get fired back at due to thier own comments. I could leave it alone, but, that sure takes the fun out of it. Atleast you have the sense to make comments without "ND Sucks" as your main point of argument, those are the ones we are addressing, not you. Also, why are you "anti-ND" are you also "anti-any other team that is not Purdue?" If you are soley "Anti-ND" then N, I hate to tell you this, but, that is exactly what a hater is.

Posted by: N on Apr 6, 2008 at 10:50 AM
I read the Purdue story. I dont have to comment on every article I read. Hell, I wasnt even going to comment on this story until I read all of the comments from other people and decided to speak up for fellow Anti-ND people like myself who get labeled Haters simply cause we dont like the team.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 5, 2008 at 10:49 AM
N, one thing before I go, you say your a Purdue fan right? Well, why is it on this web site you always choose to go to ND related stories? If you would notice there is a story about Purdue football on the site now, funny how I am the only one with a comment on the story. Where are you at, oh, paying attention to Notre Dame, I see.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 5, 2008 at 10:45 AM
Anon don't you have some scrap metal to steal? Get to it your crack pipe is calling you. Your comments are as painful as a tickle and a pleasue in thier brevity. Thanks for continuing to make all of the ND haters look so good. I guess making little hit and run comments make you feel like a man, huh? Pretty lame anon, come strong or go home, you post a different variation of that insult every time. Typical. Kimberley, I meant no insult to you, I just figured Greg and them would like to join you in the kitchen, where they say you belong, they can teach you to bake doo doo bird hater brownies and you can teach them manners and a lesson in football, you know more about it than them it appears. Like I said I am taking a week off, finish out any loose ends today and then watch for a week and get some ammo built up, they toss it around like unwanted pennies.

Posted by: Anonymous on Apr 4, 2008 at 10:09 PM
I'm telling you. RIF either got ignored by his mommy or gets ignored by his wife and kids now. This is how he feels like a man. He sounds like a complete loon!

Posted by: Kimberly Location: South Bend on Apr 4, 2008 at 05:24 PM
Now wait a minute RIF, you called them ladies as an insult, where does that put me then?... lol. I do have to agree with RIf Greg, you did level the first insults in this on going argument. I have not forgotten the insult you leveled at me in the other blog.....something about "why don't you stick to doing what you do best.....staying in the kitchen and talking to the girls while the guys watch football." I, along with ND Fan and RIF are tired of being bashed for being fans of ND. Like ND Fan said so well, we have been the first to say that the team has suffered it's hard times last year and never did any of us state we were going to be the best this year. We are just remaining optimistic for this season. Why should we be bashed for doing what every football fan......wait........ sports fan does?

Posted by: ND Fan Location: ND on Apr 4, 2008 at 01:57 PM
My point is that you can bash our team all you want, but don't expect us not to lash out at you in return. You stating which team you pull for just evens the playing field. Now we can debate team vs team instead of listening to "ND Sucks, so there!" comments. you all say we are arrogant, which if you would pay any attention and actually see what we are saying, you would not say that. We support our team, but we were the FIRST to say that ND was terrible last year, will not be "the best" this year, and that Charlie was brought down a notch. So get over yourselves and stop trying to beat a dead horse- see the big picture and the ND football program for what it's worth- the program with the biggest fan base and a storied tradition. N- I have to say I like the PSU's mascot and colors better than PU's. That's all the bashing I have for you- sorry to disappoint.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 4, 2008 at 12:14 PM
One more thing Greg, clear this up for me, "Anyone who couldn't come up with anything smart to say would dwell on a minor typo and exploit it for all they can. Even if the other party already admitted to the mistake". I wonder Greg, you say you already admitted to the mistake, so why would you go ahead and post it, knowing it had an error? That is the reason I don't belive you, you come up with an excuse for everything you do, even after admitting you knew it wrong and posted it anyway, less than belivable. Why don't you and the other haters come to the Blue Gold game and we will teach you what it means to me Die Hard Fans, I will buy you the ticket too. See you ladies in a weeks time, I will be watching so make sure you keep giving me ammo to throw back at you. They ought to just make a "RIF's Corner" page for all of you haters, I can take you all on and the other people won't have to listen to your junk. I would do it just for fun, my job pays enough.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 4, 2008 at 10:52 AM
And another thing for you Greg, I figured that would be your response, just like you could photo copy a PSU Degree, like I said, your done, beat, it's over, let it go. Also, N, it really bothers me that you come in and basicaly call me a bully and less than a man, but, you took no time to see where this all began, that, is pathetic and only supports everything I say about hater, oops, I mean anti-ND fans, don't want to offend. I mean it's OK for you all to spew hateful comments and insults, but, Notre Dame fans can't do it too. You know, Greg, your wrong again "per usual" it's 3 kids and I'm just good at what I do so I have time to do this. Minor typo, you mean constant errors? I am taking a week off from the boards, I bet you won't be around when I come back. PS N, if you want to make an anti-ND comment that is genuine and contains fact, I am all for it, that is what I want, not little girlie arguments from clowns like anon and Greg.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 4, 2008 at 10:42 AM
Who cares what yor sick of N, if you had a clue you might see that Greg is the one who started by calling me and another Wannabe ND fans who have no affilitation to the school or did not go there. I don't care if you like Purdue, I never go to another teams site and rip thier fans. Am also am a Die Hard Cubs' Fan have been for aver 20 years, when I saw them play the cards in 06 at Wrigley (and they beat the cards) I had a couple of thier fans running thier mouths, I put them in check to. I don't get why you think I should let people be when they trash my team, if they had a valid point I would only debate it. But, when they spew BS at us and it's all just bashing, I fire back. And I want to know what team they pull for because when as for example Greg said PSU that made me wonder how he has the stones to bash ND Football when his squad is bad too. It is funny, all I ever hear is that if you did not go to ND you should not be a big fan. But, when I say the same, you all cry foul!!

Posted by: N on Apr 4, 2008 at 08:53 AM
And another thing, while I'm thinking about it. RIF, I am just really sick of hearing your thoughts and your negative attitude. Any time someone says something bad about ND you jump down their throats, labeling them a Hater and demanding to know what team they support, so that you can try to humiliate them by making fun of the fact that they dont support ND. Whats the matter with you? Cant handle it when someone criticizes your precious football team? As a Die-hard Cub fan I field nothing but unwanted flack from anti-Cub fans, but I never lash out at others and try and belittle them simply because they dont support my team. Im a grown man, and carry myself like one. I can deal with it when someone doesnt like the team I support and chooses to criticize them. You should as well. You need to grow up. And by the way, in football, I support the Purdue Boilermakers. Let the trashing of that statement begin.

Posted by: N on Apr 4, 2008 at 08:49 AM
Lemme try and get RIF's logic correct here: He calls Greg out repeatedly about who his favorite sports team is. Greg finally gives in and says Penn State, only to be berated and made to look like a fool because he may not have gone there? Jeez, RIF, I didnt realize you could only root for your Alma Matter. So what if Greg didnt go to Penn State, he has a right to support whichever team he wants. I've never played for the Chicago Cubs yet I wake up every day, put on some red white or blue and cheer my team on. It's called loyalty, no matter the cost. Grow up. Stop being so high and mighty simply because you support ND. That doesnt make you better than anyone. If anything it makes you worse simply because you cant understand how any one could support any team not named Notre Dame. Its pathetic. You're pathetic.

Posted by: Greg Location: SB on Apr 3, 2008 at 10:36 PM
I dont blame you, RIF. Anyone who couldn't come up with anything smart to say would dwell on a minor typo and exploit it for all they can. Even if the other party already admitted to the mistake...but yeah big man! Yeah, I'll give you my email so you can drive to some house and take a picture. I would think that someone with a wife, two kids, and a big important job would have better things to do. Or at least be a little busier. But, yeah, I'm the liar. What a joke.

Posted by: Kimberly Location: South Bend on Apr 3, 2008 at 10:36 PM
Well hello ND Fan, welcome back to the menagerie! I was starting to miss you. Random Observer, the Penn state conversation is a carry over from another blog(Pro-day for NFL prospects at ND) It is a long story and it is better for you to just read those blogs then to try to explain it all. Actually we won the Cotton Bowl against Texas A&M in 1993, a bit less than your 20 year statement. Granted, ND has not been successful since then in the bowl games, loosing the last 10 years.......quite sad to say the least. However I still love the Irish! I have met some very arrogant P.S.U fans actually. You would be totally naive to think that any school would not have it's share of arrogant fans........but then again, is it really arrogance or just plain over zealousness?

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 3, 2008 at 06:10 PM
Sure, typo, I bet. The way you went on about your education. I'm done with you, you have nothing to offer me other than a laugh. Waste of time, maybe for me. Waste of skin, yes for you. You want to come over and see my house dude, if you want to look foolish again I will help you out. Give me your email, I will send you a pic of my house, I will make sure to take it while standing on the green 60 ft. away. You should let it go, you ask me what am I going to do next, tune in and find out. Keep giving me ammo, that is a great idea. What a liar, you lie about going to PSU and then you lie about "top 10 school". If you were so educated you might want to proof read what you post and I am sure you would have caught that top/big ten mistake. Again, I'm not angry or homicidal or anything like that, I AM RABID and your, desperate. Anyway, hit me with your Email and we can put a stop to the diarrhea of the mandible you seem to have. Mispeach, another typo or did PSU let you make up words?

Posted by: Greg Location: SB on Apr 3, 2008 at 04:46 PM
RIF, you had better get back to the fry machine. I think I heard your boss say that your 30 minute lunch was up. BTW, I meant big ten, not top ten. But that was a nice tangent that you went on though for no reason. All that googling for no reason...tsk tsk. What lame thing are you gonna do next? Pick me apart from my mispeach or will it be typographical errors that make you feel like a big man? The caddy shack on a golf course doesn't count as a "house on a golf course" either. Whats most likely a lie? That I attended Penn State, or that you live on a golf course on fast food and caddy wages? There's that maniacal laugh again. Tell your Doc at Madison Center to up your dosages. Burn......I bet someone who actually went to ND would not sound like such a moron. It's obvious that you are getting pretty upset so I will say sayonara before your sobbing ends and turns back into the homicidal anger that you must now feel. See ya at lunch tomorrow...maybe.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 3, 2008 at 03:38 PM
Yeah, that is what I thought. BTW, I would never serve you fries, my wife does not let animals in the house when we have a BBQ at home. Thats right, a house, on a golf course with my Cadillac in the garage, not too sure your McDonalds wages can get you where I am. Work hard, sling burgers like the king and you might get ahead in life. Nice try with PSU, better luck next time. And don't get so angry, it is just a blog post little guy. Also, Mr. top 10 edu. what is Penn State top 10 in?? Academics?? or what, please tell me what top 10 are they in. Unless you mis-spoke and you meant U of Pennsylvania (ranked #5 by USNews.com as top US Universities) but, no, you said Penn State, uh, dude they are #48 in the US in 2008 and wait, what is that, yup The Univerity of Notre Dame is ranked #19. Should you like to zip it now, smart guy. You are a joke, I bet real PSU grads cringed when they read that crap you put down, nice job, you like beating yourself??? HA HA HA!!!!!Have a nice day, CLOWN!!

Posted by: Greg Location: SB on Apr 3, 2008 at 02:57 PM
I dont need to prove anything to you, RIF. Just like you don't to me. Although, with me it would be a lot easier. I have an education from a top ten school, you have no education whatsoever. But, yeah you win...BIG MAN! And yes, I would like fries with that.

Posted by: ND Fan Location: ND on Apr 3, 2008 at 02:44 PM
Random Observer- my point was, he should not come on the post and tell us how much the Irish suck when his team is no better. I do not go on PSU's blogs and rip them apart. I bet you have never been around Penn State or it's fans, so I don't think you're qualified to tell me who is arrogant. Pride in your team and arrogance are 2 different things, pal. .

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 3, 2008 at 12:08 PM
Random, ever hear, "Don't dip in the mustard if you can't ketchup"(catch up) you are a little late with this one, it is an ongoing argument.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 3, 2008 at 11:43 AM
ND Fan, did you see my idea as to why Greg "picked" Penn State. I don't belive he went there. This is what he did, looked at last years wins/losses and picked Penn State from that list. He figures if he picks say, USC, OSU, LSU or any other top 10 team, we nail him on it right from the jump. But, pick Penn State who is not that good and beat ND last season and he thinks that is a lock, it was a good attempt but not belivable to me. Actually, he could send me an Email a copy of his degree (trying not to laugh)from Penn State and I would still call him a liar and we all know why...they will and have done the same thing. And I am sure he will defend himself against your "arrogant" comment to him by crying about how I called him out on it and that it really has nothing to do with it so its not his fault you called him arrogant, it is mine, maybe even Charlie Weis was at fault, might as well blame him too.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 3, 2008 at 11:31 AM
Wait one minute, Greg, you came here accusing Kim and I of being wannabe ND fans and saying we are lesser people because you say we cheer for ND but have no affiliation to the school. Now you want to cry foul when I do the same to you, get real. And no, changing your name would not make you cool, that ship has sailed. What would be really cool is if you try to have an actual debate with us rather than calling us "tards" of insulting us, remember, you started this line of BS with me. Further more I never said you were a liar because you claim Penn State, you are a liar because you claim to have gone there. Yeah, RIF does win and against you, it is a cake walk.

Posted by: Random Observer Location: South Bend on Apr 3, 2008 at 11:28 AM
What does Penn State have to do with Notre Dame on this story? Of course ND has a better record overall than Penn State, but where does someone say that Penn State was better than Notre Dame? Penn State doesn't have near the over arrogance that ND does, nor is it nearly as overrated as ND always is. They are both good schools. ND sucks right now, and frankly hasn't really done anything in over 20 years, but niether has Penn State. But, I dont see Penn State acting or being talked about like they have done anything in the past 20 years either.

Posted by: Greg Location: SB on Apr 3, 2008 at 10:10 AM
I agree, Kimberly. But, I like the ole man. I like how he handles the players. He does a good job keeping them in check. Like with that stunt they pulled last year and him making them clean the stadium after every game. Old school. Well, I dont wanna sound like I am buttering you up. RIF, get a grip man. You really are sounding like you are out of your gourd dude. Oh wait, you have me dialed, right? LOL. Is that what one of the voices in your head told you? So you ask me who my team is (which has no revelance to this story), then you say that I'm a liar. Thats convenient. Either way, RIF wins, right? If thats how you get your jollies out of life, so be it buddy. Do I have to change my name to Rabid Penn State Fan? Would that make me cool?

Posted by: ND Fan Location: ND on Apr 3, 2008 at 10:00 AM
Greg- let me preface by stating I have nothing against PSU. In fact, I even like their colors and mascot. That being said, you display a lot of arrogance in posting here, when a simple internet search shows ND has a higher winning percentage, (A LOT) more national championships, (A LOT) more Heisman winners, and (A LOT) more all americans. So exactly what's your point on your anti-ND rants? Oh, that's right... you kick teams when they're down. You probably abused your pets as a youngster too. Overcompensating, are we?

Posted by: ND Fan Location: ND on Apr 3, 2008 at 09:30 AM
I am here Kimberly. I just don't know how to respond to someone who asks "what was ND's record last year?" and then berates RIF for supplementing that comment with the other TWO seasons... or gets angry when you actually produce facts and not "you're a tard" as their argument. I mean, seriously? I am sure I will get attacked here shortly and the responses will increase. For now, I have to search the archives and find Greg's team because I don't always keep the arguments going on older posts....

Posted by: Kimberly Location: South Bend on Apr 2, 2008 at 08:24 PM
Well, I see the insults are still flying. By the way Greg, did you read my last post in Pro-day? Penn State has only had a few good seasons lately, which is why I made the comment "they are a good ball club", meaning for the last couple of seasons. Prior to that they really did not produce much since the championship in 1986. Joe "Pa" should have retired years ago!

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 2, 2008 at 02:35 PM
Already saw it and as I said before, BS!!! And how are you trying to butter Kimberly up and why, you ripped her before and now you tell another tale and try to pass comliments, you are fooling nobody. I explain why I belive you to be full of it in the other story where you FINALLY "claim" your team, I have you dialed in joker.

Posted by: Greg Location: SB on Apr 2, 2008 at 02:24 PM
Ahhhh...RIF...you seem dumber and dumber to me all the time. Ask Kimberly who my team is. I know she pays attention to what other say, unlike you. Since its so important to you. I have already said it. LOUD AND CLEAR. Funny, I thought this was an ND story though, not college sports teams...

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 2, 2008 at 12:57 PM
Funny, you never, ever try to dispute anything I say, huh, I must be hitting pretty close to home. And, as far as insults go, I followed your lead. I feel like a man every day, my wife, my kids, my co-workers and my friends let me know that every day of the week. I have no need to try hard to defeat you, you do it yourself. I will give you one more chance to be a man, not a boy. What team do you root for, how are you affiliated to that school and if you did not attend tell us why you deserve to be a fan of that team. If you can't answer that, then you prove your a joke. BTW I would rather call someone a jack*** in place of a "tard", shows your mentality to use that word. I know your sorry, now, appologize. I have no problem going around with you, but, I would rather debate someone who has a spine. SCHOOL & AFFILIATION TO IT or SHUT UP! Cut down fight or football chatter, choice is yours, might as well just forget about both you can't do either very well at all.

Posted by: Anonymous on Apr 2, 2008 at 11:45 AM
RIF, it is becoming obvious that you think that you are smart, but really aren't. I can see why ND didn't accept you. It's time you got over that though. You can only cry for so long. But, yeah, keep adding swear words and insults to all of your posts. I know it makes you feel like a real man, because in no other aspect of your life do you get that. I feel sorry for you. I really do. Your trying so hard...but to the harsh world, your just another tard. I'm sorry.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 2, 2008 at 10:28 AM
Yeah, OK, should I slow down for you, you seem to have a hard time keeping up. The point was, Jr., that you only focus on one aspect of anything. So, I asked you to explain, which you have yet to do how Weis could be called pathetic in his first two years. You then come back with and I quote "Hey RIF. Try adding in that 3rd year of CW's ND career!" which, again, proves my point, you still only look at one aspect. I would imagine you liten to too much of either Rush or O'riley, "loon" gives you away. Also, you got a chuckle, not a maniacal laugh, you are not that good. I hope I could clear that up for you since you must not be a very good reader, you should make friends with the other RIF, Reading Is Fundamental, jack***.

Posted by: Anonymous on Apr 2, 2008 at 08:48 AM
RIF, that last quote doesn't even make sense. Yet...you laugh maniacally after it. Dont go do anything crazy now...loon

Posted by: Kimberly Location: South Bend on Apr 1, 2008 at 08:21 PM
By the way, that happened to ND Fan? He has been awfully quiet here.

Posted by: Kimberly Location: South Bend on Apr 1, 2008 at 04:54 PM
Anon, of course ND had a bad season last year. None of us have denied that. What team has not suffered a bad season? That has nothing to do with still standing behind your team no matter what. That is what a true fan does. I never claimed to have passed the stats off as my own ,only the fact that the stats speak for them selves when a players talent is in question or how a team really performed throughout the game. Why are you so offended about the fact I know how to follow the stats and can use them to support my opinion as needed? Another thing you seem to not understand is Notre Dame does give back to the community on many different levels.....they just don't make a public spectacle of it when they do.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 1, 2008 at 04:48 PM
Oh, by the was Anonygirl it seems to me you just made my point for me, I said weak minded, brain function deprived people, such as yourself only have the capacity to deal with the present or in fact only one set of circumstances. And I quote, "Hey RIF. Try adding in that 3rd year of CW's ND career!" Good job, you work for me for now...*****!!! HA!! I LOVE YOU HATERS!!!

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 1, 2008 at 04:41 PM
Anonywus, Why point it out? you have done it so well yourself. No, not everyone will be an Irish fan when they are back on top, just the fair weather fakes out there. And sooner as opposed to later for your when answer. And how can one be "weak willed" to cheer for a team you say sucks?? That is strong willed, weak willed would be if a went and bought a USC jersey and became anon or Greg all of the sudden. And I would also venture to say that even ND haters who have any sense of reality know that I am as real as it gets it my assemnets of Irish Football. I got plenty of love from my Ma and Pop for that matter plus they had the common sense to teach me not to go and run my mouth without the facts, sorry about your luck, were you the first in your family to graduate High School, doubtful. So, let me get this right, you spew non-sense all of the time, won't tell us what team you cheer for also, misleadment (intentional? or bad joke?) and "convinient"??? and I am the loser, huh?

Posted by: Slade Location: Mishawaka on Apr 1, 2008 at 03:01 PM
Rocko, you say Notre Dame doesn't give back to South Bend. You are way off on that remark. Check out the 151 plus resturants within one square mile of ND. The numerous hotels in South Bend and Mishawaka. These are only two types of business ND brings to this area. They all employ people year around, not to mention the 6,000 plus employees at ND. Do you think all these hotels and resturants would have been built here if it wasn't for ND. The home football games brings into the Michiana area over millions of dollars that weekend. Every concession stand at ND is ran by some charitable organization or chuch group, and you say it doesn't give back. These church groups do not have to be a Catholic church either. I'd say Notre Dame gives back alot to this community. Yes, the football team is the PRIDE of Notre Dame just like the football team at Michigan, Ohio State, Nebraska, Alabama just to mention a few. Notre Dame is the best thing happening in South Bend. Win or lose! ND is #1!

Posted by: Anonymous on Apr 1, 2008 at 02:31 PM
Hey RIF. Try adding in that 3rd year of CW's ND career! Convinient how you left that out. You really are pathetic with your attempts! You should work for Bush with that kinda of misleadment.

Posted by: Kimberly Location: South Bend on Apr 1, 2008 at 12:51 PM
You know it is Greg in hiding RIF. He just does not want to post his name.

Posted by: Anonymous on Apr 1, 2008 at 12:45 PM
Oh now everyone is going to be a fan when and if ND is on top?!?! RIF, you are so out of your mind it is crazy. You have your own little world that you live in that has its own laws and rules. Meanwhile the rest of us live in the real world. Where ND sucks and is overrated even when they suck. Your the loser because you are so weak willed that you have to cheer for a team that is always overrated. It probably fits your personality. What? Did your mom not hug you enough as a child?

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Apr 1, 2008 at 10:45 AM
Here is a stat for you anon, CW in his first two years went 19-5 I would love to hear you explain how that was managed and how you call that pathetic. If you would pull your head from your *** you might see that, NOBODY, not Lou, not Ara, not Devine, not even Rockne could have done anything more with that team. He had a choice, field your best team in 06' to run at the National Championship and suffer in 07'. Or, take the hit in 06' and rebuild for 08', not sure why you clowns don't see that. But, I guess you just like to look at today only, lack of brain power will do that to you. Atleast Kimberly is able to find and post FACTS all you do is finger point and whine, why, because you are an Irish fan that ran his mouth too much and now your a hater. I bet when ND is back on top you change your name from anon to something like, #1 ND LOVER, ALWAYS HAVE BEEN!!! Switch hitter, huh?

"Throw stats on them and blow them out of the water" HA! Stop trying to sound smart, Kimberly. It is obvious that all you do is regurgitate things you hear or read about sports and try to pass them off as your own. Here's a stat for ya, what was ND's record last year? The ONLY reason it MAY improve this year is because of the schedule. And that is even doubtful considering the absolute PITIFUL performance from last season. I mean, to lose to all three academies when the only reason they are on the schedule in the first place is for an easy win. Pathetic....and will always be pathetic under CW. Keep diluting yourself tho dorks.

Yeah fun...almost as fun as last year. Get a job

The reason South Bend is the "Gary" like town is that Notre Dame does not contribute to help South Bend, but takes what it can from South Bend. Notre Dame should put the homeless in an old dorm on the Notre Dame campus. Every day on the radio and TV you hear and see ND advertising for people to come out and support their sporting events. ND needs to give as much as it takes from South Bend.

I hear you Slade. I just think it is fun to put the haters in their place. They seem to get really upset when you throw stats at them and blow their argument out of the water! Then all they can do is resort to insults as they are backed into the corner. I just can't wait for the season to really start...............should be fun.

To all you ND posters (or lovers), I enjoy reading your post. As for Greg telling you who he/she cheers for, you might as well forget that. Remember Greg does post that he/she is from South Bend, and where does one take a visitor to show off South Bend. Do they take them to the getto? Numerous homeless shelters and soup kitchens? The prisons downtown? The Madison Center for drug addicts and drunks? NO, to all of the above...you take them the Notre Dame. If it were not for ND the city of South Bend would be a ghost town and a complete getto like Gary and Benton Harbor. Mishawaka would not be what it is today either without ND. The campus at ND is awesome and something to be proud of. Its amazing that people like Greg and some South Bend citizens don't want ND to expand and make the area better. They rather keep So Bend as a getto. Haters like to throw punches at ND because its the only positive thing in South Bend. Its the last thing left of South Bend to be proud of.

Rocko, just goes to show ya', birds are smarter than ND Haters.

Yes ND Fan, I am back and ready to go! Anon........RIF and myself along with our buddy ND Fan are all true fans who share many of the same opinions. We have been posting all season, so do your homework before throwing out ridiculous accusations in a cowardly manner. At least have the guts to post a name! Rocko.......what's up with that? ND Fan...Don't bother asking Greg to divulge any information such as who he cheers for.......he has yet to answer any of my questions. I think RIF nailed it.....the pre-season rankings have not been posted yet so he does not know which team to claim to be a fan of. Larry, my hat is of to you for serving your country. I wish you the best of luck and I couldn't agree more with you about your thoughts. I am even slightly jealous that you are down under. I would love to visit Australia some time.

Rocko, since you're new I will cut you some slack. Please take a couple of days, read the archives, and then maybe you won't try to recycle other peoples' posts and pass them off as your own.

Spring is in the air. If you take notice of the birds coming back to the area they fly upside down over Notre Dame. It is not worth crapping on!

WNDU, let me save you the time and energy for the newest of the anonymi... ATTENTION ALL HATERS NEW TO THE POST: 1.) do not post in all caps (I like to test the rule by posting in SOME caps...) 2.) Do Not Start All Words With Caps. It's annoying and makes people think you're weird. 3.) WNDU screens the IP addresses of posts to try to ensure that one person can't post under multiple names. That's why, if you have been around a while, you will see WNDU's little warning under your post if you break their rules! So anonymi... just because people may share the same idea does not make them the same person. You all should be since you post under anonymi tags... but nice try.

Yeah, right after you start posting under dumb ****, it fits.

Posted by: ND Fan Location: ND on Mar 27, 2008 at 09:12 AM
Kimberly! You came out of hibernation, I see! We may need you this preseason (can I call it that yet? PLEASE?)... the haters have had a long cold winter and surely have saved up their best insults... I just want to watch them play. Greg- we showed your ours (team, I mean. Get your mind out of the gutter!) now you show us yours. I am betting LSU.

Posted by: Anonymous on Mar 27, 2008 at 08:12 AM
RIF, just post under the name Kimberly. We all know its you.

Posted by: Larry Location: Australia on Mar 27, 2008 at 03:03 AM
Who's this Greg guy and why are you all paying attention to him? He's not worth the time and effort. I'd be happy with seven wins and a minor bowl game (with a win). Anything short of that is an abject failure. By the way, I'm in the military stationed down under at the moment, if you were wondering about the location.

I am very hopeful we will see improvement this year. Do I think we will win the national championship this year.....no. I don't think the coaching staff or the players want a repeat of last year and will work twice as hard to overcome their deficits. Greg, you are a true hater! RIF your right, I do love the smell of spring! The haters are in bloom!

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Mar 26, 2008 at 05:41 PM
Greg, it has nothing to do with ND, it has to do with you. You come here and make your little comments and I want to know what team you support, just for a frame of reference. I figured you would not answer quickly, haters never do. So, which one is it, USC, Ohio State come on make it good. Also I have no desire to change the subject, I stood tall last season and every other season, good or bad. Oh, daycare, I see you stick to your guns about the insults. Just tell us what team you pull for and since you think it matters what college did you go to? Hey, you called me a domer...does that mean you think I went to ND now? Or are you just lacking in what a "domer" is or really means. And for the record, not I nor anyone else claiming to be a ND fan here has said once that we think the Irish are going to be the best team in the nation. We do however belive they will be better and I for one belive 8 wins is not out of the question, even with the weaker sched., see I am a realist and fan.

Posted by: Greg Location: SB on Mar 26, 2008 at 02:54 PM
What does any of that have to do with ND, Rabid? Thats what I want to know? I dont blame you, I would want to change the subject IMMEDIATELY as well. Some "fan" you are. I didnt know they had computers in daycares now days.

Congrats to the ladies BB team. Beating Okla was a giant step forward to beating TN. Think that you can and you will. If you don't truly beleive you can, you've lost before the game is even started. Go Irish.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fan Location: Standing Tall on Mar 26, 2008 at 01:08 PM
Thats right Greg, follow me around and shout like a dork. Again, what team do you follow in College Sports? I really want to know and I bet anything it is one of five teams. I bet they are better than your team, oh, wait, you have to wait until the AP or whoever releases thier top 10 list in the early summer, then you can pick your favorite team. Forgot how you uninformed, band wagon hopping, flip flopping clowns work.

Posted by: Greg Location: SB on Mar 26, 2008 at 12:01 PM
Lets hear it domer!! How awesome are they going to be this year!?! Yell it out so I can laugh as hard at the end of this year as I did last year.

Posted by: Rabid Irish Fans Location: Standing Tall on Mar 26, 2008 at 09:29 AM
I can feel it in the air, a couple of my garden bulbs have bloomed. The air feels different a sure sign of spring. Oh, and let us not forget the haters, I knew we were getting close when the haters began to poke thier heads through the dirt. Ah, what a great feeling.

Posted by: Lewis T. Location: SB on Mar 26, 2008 at 02:11 AM
Jeff, even though they still aren't there yet, are you as excited as seeing football again. I can't wait till the fall-do you think they will be better or will it take more time ?
