Quest to repeat as CCHA champions begins Friday for Irish Icers

The Irish Icers enter the post-season not looking like the defending CCHA Champions.

Luckily, Notre Dame has had two weeks (because of a bye) to clean up its play.

The Irish finished the regular season winning just two of their last eight games.

Their opponent--Ferris State---is one of the hottest teams in the CCHA.

ND will host the best of the three series, which begins Friday night at 7:30 at the Joyce Center.

Game two is Saturday at 7pm with game three Sunday at 7pm if neccesary.

Ferris State owned the Irish during the regular with Notre Dame earning just one win in four meetings between the two teams.
