Cavemen celebrate state championship win on Tuesday

The celebrations just keep on coming for the Mishawaka wrestling team.

Makes sense after winning the school's first team State Championship since 1991.

On Tuesday morning, the Cavemen wrestling program were honored at Mishawaka High School.

The State Championship Trophies were proudly on display as the Cavemen received the Key to the City for their efforts.

Former wrestling coach and legend Al Smith, who guided the Cavemen to the State title back in '91 was also on hand ton congratulate the team on their great efforts.

Mishawaka defeated multi-time state champion Evansville Mater Dei in the Championship round on Saturday afternoon.

3-Time individual state champion Josh Harper clinched the team state title win.
