Marilyn Coddens says no matter who is on the floor on Saturday, she believes her team will get the job done in the 4A State finals.
The defending state champion Washington Panthers are currently practicing without star Skylar Diggins and fellow starter Takoia Larry.
Both missed school and practice on Tuesday due to illness. Neither will be participate in workouts on Wednesday and the team is hoping they will be ready by Thursday--but even that remains up in the air.
Senior Emily Phillips, who did practice Tuesday, is also under the weather.
Coddens is not worried about what lies the rest of the week, saying she has complete confidence in all the players on the team.
Citing privacy concerns, Coddens did not say what 'illness' is keeping Diggins and Larry off the court and out of school.
Washington will face Carmel in the 4A State Championship Saturday at 8pm.
