Washington girls win 3rd straight Semi-State

Skylar Diggins scored 35 points and Takoia Larry added 18 as Washington defeated FW South 80-53 to win its 3rd straight Semi-State.

The Defending IHSAA Champions will look to defend their crown next Saturday night against Carmel at 8pm at Conseco Field House.

Fort Wayne South had a brief lead early in the game, but Washington took control from there and never looked back.

The Panthers led 31-22 at halftime and slowly built the lead up in the 2nd half thanks to their great up-tempo game.

Washington is now 23-2 on the season with both losses coming to teams outside of the State of Indiana.

FW South is actually the last team to beat the Panthers back in the first game of last season.
