IU survives in double OT

Indiana trailed Illinois for most of the night but Eric Gordon banked in a three-pointer to send the game to overtime. It took two sessions but IU got the win, 83-79.

Gordon was booed all night. He originally committed to Illinois but signed with Indiana. The fab freshman had only one point in the first half but finished with 18. Armon Bassett scored 16 including 11 in the second overtime.
