In 19 years as Concord's football coach, Tim Dawson has sent just two players to the Division I level.
Wednesday, he sent his third.
6'7", 310 pound offensive lineman Kyle Magnuson officially signed his letter of intent to play for Wyoming.
"It's like a birthday," Magnuson said Wednesday morning. "It's great. Shoot, it's better than a birthday."
Magnuson verbally committed to Wyoming back in July, but he received a lot of interest from schools since then, including Illinois and Indiana.
But despite his large size, Magnuson is still a quiet kid at heart and that's why he likes Wyoming.
"I love it out there. I love the mountains, I love the coaches, I love the conference. It's nice."
