Mike Brey's Irish have finally reached the Top 25.
And they apparently impressed voters enough to jump high in the rankings.
The Irish landed at #21 in the latest coaches' poll and #22 in the AP Poll.
It's the first time this season the Irish have been ranked in either poll this season.
Notre Dame is coming off two big home wins this week against Providence and DePaul.
The victories pushed the Irish to 16-4 overall and 6-2 in the Big East.
The 6-2 record puts ND in 2nd place in the toughest conference in the country.
The Irish head on the road on Wednesday to face Seton Hall.
UConn also cracked the Top 25 in both polls at #19 spot. The Big East has five teams in each poll
Purdue broke into the AP Poll at #24, while not making the cut in the coaches' poll. The Boilers are tied for first in the Big Ten with a 8-1 league record.
IU dropped three spots in each poll. The Hoosiers are now ranked 14th in the AP Poll and 13th in the coaches' poll.
Butler moves up to 10th in the AP and 11th in the coaches' poll. The Bulldogs were ranked 12th in both polls last week.
Butler, IU, Notre dame and Purdue give Indiana four schools in the top 25. That is the most of any state. California and Tennessee each have three teams representing their respective states.
