While it's been a rough stretch for the ND hockey team, it's still fun especially when one considers Monday's practice. Jeff Jackson took his team away from the Joyce Center and went over to MIshawaka to skate outside at Merrifield Park.
There was no contact as the player's traded their pads for sweats and wool caps.
Jackson said that it was what makes the game great as all the players on the team remembered the days when they would choose sides and head outside no matter what the conditions.
