Irish Icers fall to Michigan again

A night after letting 2-0 lead slip away against top ranked Michigan, the Irish Icers fell to the Wolverines again---this time more convincingly, 5-1 in Auburn Hills.

Notre Dame's drought on the power play dipped to a new low in the 1st half when the Irish gave up a shorthanded goal to put Michigan up 1-0.

Notre Dame got it back eight minutes later when Ben Ryan scored to tie the game at 1.

But just two minutes after that, Kevin Porter put Michigan up for good.

The Irish have just one point in their last four games and are now in 4th place in the CCHA.
