IU wins Big 10 opener

Everything looked safe for Indiana on Wednesday night. Just over 2 minutes remained in the game at Iowa and the Hoosiers had a double digit lead. Then Justin Johnson got hot. Hot to the tune of scoring the last 19 points for Iowa over a period of 1:56. His final field goal was a bank shot from near half court that sent the crowd at Carver-Hawkeye into a frenzy. But that was a close as Iowa got to IU.

Eric Gordon had 23 to pace Indiana which has won eight straight. Johnson led all scores with 29
