Boston College wins another bowl

Michigan State began the 200-7 Champs Sports Bowl by running over and through the nation's top rush defense, but for some reason the power game was abandoned and Boston College came back to win its 8th straight post-season game, 24-21.

The Spartans had five turnovers in the game including four interceptions thrown by quarterback Brian Hoyer. The last pick came after the MSU defense had stopped B.C. and the Spartans tried to send the game to overtime.

B.C. finishes 2007 with a record of 11-3 which is the first time the Eagles have won 11 in a season since 1940
