Senior Sam Franszek, who has not seen many minutes so far this season due to tendinitis, shined in the 1st round of the NIC Tourney.
Franszek drained seven three-pointers for 21 points in St. Joe 69-56 win over Riley.
Marcus Johnson added 19.
The Indians will face Clay in Friday's 8pm semifinal.
Clay improved to 7-1 with a 51-34 win over Mishawaka.
In other NIC semifinal, Penn will face Washington at 6:30 Friday.
The NIC Championship will be at 8pm on Saturday.
