Marcus Johnson scored 32 points to lead South Bend St. Joe to a 71-61 win over Adams Friday night.
Johnson, the area's scoring leader, sparked a 9-0 run in the 3rd quarter to put the Indians up by 10.
With the win, St. Joe improves to 7-0.
Adams drops to 3-3 with the loss.
At Marian high school, it was a doubleheader sweep for the Washington Panthers.
In the 1st game, Skylar Diggins scored 29 points as the defending state champions pounded the Lady Knights 72-32.
The Lady Panthers are now 11-0 and have won 39 straight games.
In game 2, the Panthers boys remained undefeated as well.
Despite not having Jarrett Fleming and Kennis White, Washington rolled to the 69-51 win to improve to 9-0.
Trayvyon Whitfield led the way with 21 points, including 10 in the 4th quarter in the win.
At Mishawaka, Zac Cook scored 13 and Larry King added 12 to lead Riley to a 54-49 win over the Cavemen.
The Wildcats improved to 6-1 with the win.
Mishawaka drops to 2-5.
Prior to the boys game, the girls took to the floor.
Stephanie Beck scored 22 points to lead Mishawaka to the 63-51 win.
At Penn high school, Daniel Smith scored 17 points and Blake Batteast added 15 as Clay took down the Kingsmen 61-45.
Clay improves to 6-1 with the win.
At the LaVille Tournament, undefeated Triton walked all over LaVille 62-32 to improve to 7-0.
Triton will face Culver in the finals of the tournament Saturday night.
