Michigan still searching for football coach

Lloyd Carr announced after Michigan's loss to Ohio State that he was retiring as the head coach of the Maize and Blue. The school is still trying to find a succesor.

Les Miles deciding to remain at LSU. Rutgers Greg Schiano talked with UM athletic director Bill Martin but Schiano decided that a move to Ann Arbor was not in the cards.

To be fair, Martin has not likely offered the job to any candidate and won't until a deal is done.

If you're looking for potential successors, there are rumors and reports of just about every feasible candidate starting with current members of the UM staff ranging to former Steelers coach Bill Cowher and longtime NFL head coach, Marty Schottenheimer
