Massive trade swung by Detroit

Miguel Cabrera and Dontrelle Willis were the heart and soul of the Florida Marlins franchise. Now they will be part of what could be another World Series team in Detroit. The Tigers picked up the 25-year old All-Stars on Tuesday as part of an eight-player deal with Florida.

When a team gives up players like Cabrera and Willis, they get a lot back. That was the case as the Tigers send lefty Andrew Miller and outfielder Cameron Maybin. Both of those players are regarded as a pair of the elite younger players in the game.
