Irish icers shut down Falcons

The Notre Dame hockey team continues to roll. After sweeping Western Michigan over the weekend, Jeff Jackson's squad won over Bowling Green on Tuesday, 2-1.

Kyle Lawson scored the go-ahead goal while goalie Jordan Pearce was again oustanding. At the end of the game, the Falcons had a 6-4 advantage but Pearce kept the lead, and the victory, intact.

ND now moves on to face Alabama-Huntsville in a tourney in Troy, NY this weekend.
