Irish fall to Tech in a heartbreaker

On Sunday, the Irish mens basketball team fell to Baylor by four and last night, ND lost another tight one to Georgia Tech. The final was 70-69 at the Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Yellow Jackets Matt Causey threw in a 21-footer that gave Tech the final margin of victory. Causey's shot came with :02 left in regulation. Kyle McAlarney had a shot at the buzzer to win but it just bounced away.

The Irish led by eight points with 3:15 left but a few three-pointers by Tech and some free shots by the Irish tightened the game.

ND now faces Youngstown State on November 24 at the Joyce Center. The Irish are 2-2 on the season
