A 28-14 loss to Churubusco in the 1A Regional finals ended the Cinderella season for the Triton Trojans.

Triton entered the post-season with a 3-6 record and had never even played in a Sectional final before.

Three wins later, the Trojans were Sectional champions and headed to Regionals for the first time in school history.

Churubusco proved to be too much, however.

In the 1st quarter, Busco QB Cameron Amber found Corey Richards in the end zone. Richards bobbled the catch, stayed with it, and pulled it in for the touchdown.

Busco would add another TD to go up 14-0 at the half.

Triton's season ends with a 6-7 record.
