Indians are moving on to Semi-State

Three local Indiana teams entered Regionals and only one is left standing.

Jordan Taylor scored three touchdowns and rushed for more than 240 yards as the Indians defeated Andrean 35-21 for the 3A Regional Championship.

St. Joe moves on to the 3A Semi-State for the first time since 1995. They will host Fort Wayne Concordia next Friday night.

Taylor gave the Indians a 7-0 lead on a 14-yard touchdown run in the 1st quarter.

In the 2nd quarter, fellow senior running back Dustin White took over. #44 took one 44 yards from the Indians own 9-yard line into Andrean territory.

White would complete the drive with a 16-yard touchdown run to make it 14-0.

Taylor wasn't finished in the 1st half or for the game. With 2:00 left in the 2nd, JT Money busted one 72 yards for his second of three touchdowns to make it 21-0.

Andrean scored a touchdown before the half to pull within 14.

The Fighting 59ers scored first in the 3rd quarter to cut St. Joe's lead to 21-14.

But Taylor added another touchdown and the Indians held on to the 35-21 win.
