Irish football coach Charlie Weis announced today he wanted to watch both Evan Sharpley and Jimmy Clausen in practice today before deciding on which player will start at quarterback on Saturday vs. Air Force.
Sharpley got the nod against USC and Navy. Clausen started against Penn State, MIchigan, Michigan State, Purdue, UCLA and Boston College. Clausen has not been 100 per cent due to a variety of injuries.
