Naval Academy officials have canceled classes so midshipmen have another day to celebrate the school's first football victory over Notre Dame in 44 years.
The academy's plebes were also free for 10 hours yesterday to celebrate the 46-44 triple overtime victory on Saturday.
Notre Dame lost after failing to convert a 2-point conversion. Navy had scored on a 25-yard touchdown pass and then made a 2-point conversion.
Annapolis spokesman Ray Weaver says the city has tentatively scheduled a celebration rally Wednesday afternoon.
