Mike Cameron will sit out the first 25 games of next season. But the San Diego Padres outfielder says he wants it to be clear that he isn't guilty of using steroids.
He says he has never taken anything like that before in his life.
Cameron has tested positive for a banned stimulant.
In a statement issued through his agent, Cameron says he believes the substance came from a tainted supplement. But he says he can't prove it because he no longer has the supplement in question.
