Big East basketball coaches are putting Georgetown and Louisville at the top of the conference.
They're co-favorites in the new coaches poll out today.
Georgetown has four starters back from its Final Four team and Louisville returns its top seven scorers from last year.
Georgetown's seven-foot center Roy Hibbert was the preseason player of the year.
Georgetown and Louisville both received eight first-place votes and 217 points in the balloting of the league's 16 coaches.
Louisville centers David Padgett and guard Terrence Williams were named to the preseason all-conference team.
Notre Dame is ranked ninth.
