Coloma wins Week 7's Spirit Award

The football team is 6-0.

And the team's fans are showing great support.

It's a good time to be affiliated with the Coloma Comets.

Despite just 673 students, the Comets were able to outvote the rest of competition to claim Week 7's Spirit Award.

Coloma receives a plaque and check for $100 courtesy of Pizza Hut for showing the most school spirit on Friday Night Football.

As for the team, they are having a tremendous season---already qualifying for the post-season.

Coloma has dominated its games, averaging 43 points per contest. Their opponents, meanwhile, are scoring just 11 points per game.

In fact, last week's win over Buchanan was the closest game Coloma has had this year. The Comets won by 23 points!

Coloma battles Bridgman tonight looking to stay undefeated. The Bees are 1-5 and have been outscored 96-6 in the last two weeks.

If Coloma and Cassopolis win this week, both will head into next Friday's Lakeland Conference clash with undefeated 7-0 records.

Cassopolis has outscored its opponents 115-0 in the last two weeks. The Rangers face 2-4 Berrien Springs on Friday.
