With just two weeks left in the high school football regular season, South Bend St. Joe meets Lakeland in a big IHSAA 3A clash.
The Indians are 5-2 and have won two games in a row. Lakeland is 7-1.
St. Joe coach Kevin Downey sees the game as a perfect warmup for the post-season.
He says its a battle against another 3A team that is having a good season and one where the Indians have to get on a bus and travel more than an hour.
Downey says little things like that are helpful for a team to be ready for the playoffs.
