There haven't been too many bright spots this season for the Irish.

At 0-5, Notre Dame is off to it's worst start in school history.

One of the team's few bright spots is 5th senior defensive lineman Trevor Laws.

Laws is having an outstanding season and leads the nation in tackles amongst defensive lineman.

His play has inspired another defensive lineman---nose tackle Pat Kuntz.

Kuntz credits a lot of his success this season to studying under Laws. Kuntz says he reviews Trevor's plays as well as his own to improve his game.

Laws has also had an impact on Kuntz' improving his physical play on the field.

Laws has seen the improvement from Kuntz as well. He says the 4th-year senior has come a long way from his first year with the Irish.
