Michigan State's Keith Nichol has found a way to regularly contribute on the football field.
The converted quarterback caught a go-ahead touchdown pass from Kirk Cousins during Michigan State's 38-14 season-opening victory over Western Michigan on Saturday.
Nichol is now a starting wide receiver after being a backup quarterback for most of his college career.
He started his career at Oklahoma but transferred to Michigan State after his freshman season.
Michigan State plays Florida Atlantic at Detroit's Ford Field next Saturday. Florida Atlantic beat Alabama-Birmingham 32-31 on Thursday.
