Congratulations to Jimtown High School, winners of the week 6 16 Spirit Award.

The Jimmies are off to a 6-0 start for the first time since Bill Sharpe's final season as Jimtown head coach in 2007. The Jimmies started a 11-0 that season before losing to Luers in the sectional finals.

The 2012 Jimmies have plenty to be spirited about. Jimtown handed Concord its first loss of the season last Friday night in a 48-0 romping at Knepp Field.

Jimtown has dominated its opponents this season, outscoring them 235 to 19. Jimtown has shutout four of their six opponents.

The Jimmies receive a plaque and check for $100 from Martin's for showing the most school spirit on Friday Night Football.

Jimtown goes on the road to Culver this week.
