Eddies capture Week 5 Spirit Award
The Eddies have reason to be spirited. After all, the football team is off to a 3-0 start after their best season in school history in 2010 when they reached the state semifinals.

Congratulations to the Eddies of Edwardsburg, winners of the Week 5 16 Spirit Award.

Edwardsburg receives a plaque and check for $100 for showing the most school spirit on last week's edition of Friday Night Football.

The Eddies have reason to be spirited. After all, the football team is off to a 3-0 start after their best season in school history in 2010 when they reached the state semifinals.

Edwardsburg is hungry to do more this season and that starts Friday night when they go on the road to Buchanan. The Eddies only regular season loss last season was at the hands of the Bucks.

Look for the Edwardsburg faithful to be out in full force, perhaps in Camo gear against the Bucks. They're always dressed in a theme, cheering on their team.

And of course, their mascot--the Eddie--well, he'll be out in full force too.
