Ingredients

6 cups any variety chex cereal
12 oz bag white chocolate chips
2 teaspoons shortening
Food coloring
*Additional items to add to mix… (pretzels, nuts, m&m’s, chocolate chips, or whatever you like)

Directions

Put 3 cups each of chex cereal into 2 separate bowls.

In a microwave safe bowl, microwave chips for 1 minute. Remove and stir. Return to microwave for an additional 30 seconds. Stir again.

Repeat at 30 second intervals until fully melted. Add shortening.

Separate white chocolate by half into another bowl. Add appropriate color to each bowl to represent your favorite team. Some colors may need to be combined i.e. red+blue=purple.

Continue to add color until desired color intensity is achieved.

Mix one bowl of colored chocolate with one bowl of cereal, and the other with the other. Stir both mixtures until cereal is well coated.

Spread mixtures out onto two pieces of parchment paper until chocolate sets.

Combine both with each other, and with other favorite snack ingredients. Have fun supporting your favorite team!
