Gingrich campaign struggling and reducing staff

Newt Gingrich's struggling campaign is reducing staff and its visibility.

The campaign is laying off one third of its staff and has replaced the campaign manager.

Gingrich will also slash his schedule.

He'll focus on visiting targeted primary states, instead of competing more broadly.

The campaign has struggled financially for weeks.

A spokesman says Gingrich will focus on a strategy for the republican convention in Tampa, in case none of the other candidates have enough delegates for the nomination.
