The Conservative Political Action Conference takes a straw poll of Republican presidential candidates at its Washington meeting today.
The candidates seeking votes competed yesterday to present themselves as most conservative and most opposed to Obama's health
care law.
Obama has shifted his position on who pays for birth control for employees of religious groups that oppose contraception but many conservatives still scoff and say the controversy is overreach of Obama's health care plan.
Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich addressed the gathering. Ron Paul did not attend.
