Yea sure , Republican lawmakers are worried that the woman is being forced or coerced. Just like they're so concerned for the woman seeking an abortion's health that they're insisting on an Ultrasound prior. State lawmakers aren't even thinking for themselves anymore. They're being fed this national conservative agenda that provides them with draft bills just to see what sticks in what state. And in the end, it's just pretty much white male, middle aged Republicans trying to control women. By the way read Doonesbury this week for further enlightment. I'm donating my $50 Indiana state tax refund to my local Planned Parenthhod.

It would be nice to see some legislation protecting 'fathers rights'. Women should not be allowed to have an abortion if the father wants the baby to be born. Too many people view this as a womans issue, exclusively. It takes two people to create a pregnancy, it should allow two people to make decisions on the life of the child. It is not a womans choice alone. If women believe it is, then they should stop chasing down the fathers that walk away, demanding child support if they want to have the power to exclude the fathers that want to Dads.

Also the reverse is true if the man wants the woman to have an abortion and she chooses to keep the baby the man shouldn't have to pay child support. Seriously women will do anything to get at a man's wallet.
