Mourdock to run for re-election as Indiana treasurer
Indianapolis, IN The nominations for state treasurer will be decided during party conventions over the summer.

State treasurer Richard Mourdock says he'll run for re-election.
Mourdock is a Republican who gained attention last year as he took a fight against the Chrysler bankruptcy proceedings all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mourdock says he'll seek the GOP nomination for state treasurer.
South Bend businessman Pete Buttigieg has announced that he'll seek the Democratic nomination for the Indiana treasurer's office.
The nominations for state treasurer will be decided during party conventions over the summer.
