Voters who say religion is influencing how they cast their ballots are helping Rick Santorum in two Southern states.

Exit polls in Oklahoma show Santorum with a 2-1 lead among those
voters over both Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich. His lead was nearly
as large in Tennessee with Republicans who say they're looking for
a candidate with similar religious views.

Born-again and evangelical voters made up nearly three-quarters of those voting in Tennessee and Oklahoma's Republican presidential
primaries.

Santorum is also scoring better than his rivals with blue-collar voters in the two states.

In Georgia, an exit poll of GOP voters shows Gingrich's victory was powered by people who said the former House speaker's ties to the state were important. The 60 percent of Georgia Republicans who said Gingrich's roots in the state mattered little divided roughly evenly among Gingrich, Romney and Santorum.
